Introduction:

#WeRunVenda is a celebration of the 42km or Less training run which traditionally takes place on the last Saturday of December in Venda (Thohoyandou).  The event has been taking place since 2015 making it the oldest long training run in the Limpopo Province, South Africa.

Our aim is to target all runners from beginners to professionals without discrimination.  Traditionally runners all over the country travel to Venda to attend our run, which gives them an opportunity to explore Venda with its unique heritage within South Africa.

Date of event: 23 December 2023 (Saturday).

Time: 05:00am – 12:00pm.

Distance: 42km or less.

Start and Finish: 2010 Babylon Leisure Park – Thohoyandou.

Total number of runners expected: Our entry is capped at 300 runners.
